Spare key
A backup key for your Citroën, cut and programmed in about 30 minutes in our Ixelles workshop.
From €50
Need a spare Citroën key or lost all your keys? We program a new key for your Citroën in our Ixelles workshop or on site, anywhere in Brussels and Belgium.
The Citroën flip key is very common and its shell often ends up breaking at the hinge. We make a complete spare, chip and remote included, including for Berlingo, Jumpy and Jumper vans.
Retractable blade; we also replace the shell when the hinge breaks.
Unlock and start without taking the key out, programmed via diagnostics.
The Citroën range mixes several key families. The first-generation C1, built with Toyota, has a fixed-blade remote key similar to the Aygo’s, unrelated to other Citroëns. The C3, C4, C4 Picasso, Berlingo and Jumpy use the in-house flip key with two or three buttons, whose chip is recognised by the body control unit. The Jumper, built on the Fiat Ducato base, has a Fiat-type key. The C5 Aircross and some recent C3 Aircross or C4 Picasso models can have hands-free entry and start, with an emergency blade inside the key. After a battery change, an older Citroën remote may need resynchronising, as described in the owner’s handbook. If the blade is badly worn, it is better to cut the spare from the key code, found through the chassis number (VIN), than to copy a damaged blade.

On several older Citroëns, the remote loses its synchronisation when the battery is removed. A simple procedure in the owner’s handbook usually involves switching the ignition on and then pressing the lock button. If that is not enough, check the battery orientation and the contacts; as a last resort, the remote is reprogrammed via diagnostics.
No. The Jumper shares its base with the Fiat Ducato and uses a Fiat-type key, with a different blade and electronics from the Berlingo or Jumpy. Give the exact model and year, or the chassis number, when you ask for a spare key for a Citroën van.
From €50 for the simplest keys. The price depends on the model, year and key type (blade, remote, hands-free). Send us these details for a free quote.
